BWC Playmakers competed in the Valencia International Cup in Jan 2023. The prestigious tournament hosted by Valencia Basket at the L'Alqueria Del Basket (Europes #1 Basketball facility)
The cup brought teams from 10 different countries to compete against each other. Six members of the BWC Basketball Academy were chosen to form part of a team
Our players represented themselves with pride by winning the group stage with 3 wins and zero losses. They were finally beaten In a hard fought semi final, against a tough Spanish team.
Coach Martin said: "It was a great learning experience and bonding exercise along with 22 degree weather. It serves as good preparation for the team as they strive to bring the Academy league National Championship to Bracknell."
